From October 17-19, 2025, the 3rd Interdisciplinary Conference   "Studying the Deaf Community – 2025: On the Periphery of Attention"  was held at the GES-2 Community Center. It was organized with the participation of the International Laboratory for Social Integration Research. Speakers from 20 countries participating, presenting over 90 papers on the culture, languages, and experiences of the deaf community. The RDC-2025 laboratory team also presented four studies prepared over the past year. These studies focused on the social structure of deaf society, the formation of deaf identity in bilingual education based on the archives of a Moscow gymnasium, sign singing in deaf culture and its perception by deaf and hard of hearing people, and clubs as a center for the development of deaf culture.

Starting November 1, 2025, with the support of the Khamovniki Foundation for Social Research, a project will begin. As a result, our laboratory's junior research fellow, Tatyana Larkina, will describe the daily work routines of Russian teachers, reveal the social drama of teaching, and demonstrate how employees of general education organizations repeatedly make numerous choices in situations of value conflicts and contradictory and uncertain demands on their professional roles.

On October 20-21, the Smirnov House in Moscow hosted the scientific and practical conference  "Philanthropy: Science and Practice  ," organized by the Vladimir Potanin Charitable Foundation. Konstantin Obukhov, a senior research fellow at the ILSIR, delivered a presentation.

On October 20, 2025, at a meeting of the International Laboratory for Social Integration Studies at the Higher School of Economics, Maxim Pavlovich Kotelnikov, a postgraduate student at the HSE International Laboratory for Social Integration Studies, held a pre-defense of his candidate's dissertation on the topic "Literary practices as a resource for transforming the biographical projects of young men from families with low socioeconomic status."

On October 9, 2025, Tatyana Yuryevna Larkina, a junior research fellow at the International Laboratory for Social Integration Research (ILSIR) at the National Research University, Higher School of Economics, defended her PhD dissertation on "Discretion in the Work of School Teachers in Russia."

From September 11th to 15th, the Voronovo Educational Center hosted the International Laboratory for Social Integration Studies' autumn school, entitled "Women as Agents of Change in Turbulent Times: Reducing Risks and Expanding Opportunities." Students from HSE, MGIMO, and other higher education institutions. Participants listened to lectures by sociologists, anthropologists, economists, and philosophers on topics related to women's agency.

From July 11-15, the 5th Forum on Sociology of the International Sociological Association was held in Rabat, Morocco. Representatives of the International Laboratory for Social Integration Research presented papers alongside more than 4,000 participants.
