ILSIR Staff Took Part in the International SPACES Conference in Yerevan
Daria Prisyazhnyuk and Elena Iarskaia-Smirnova took part in the international SPACES conference at the Yerevan Center for Social and Humanities Research in Eurasia, where they presented findings from a comparative analysis of media frames surrounding the educational inclusion of children with disabilities and migrant children.
The Fieldwork Stage of the Study on Quality of Life in Residential Social Care Institutions Continued in the Irkutsk Region
As part of a joint project between ILSIR and the Center for Curative Pedagogics — "Developing and Empirically Verifying a Conceptual Model of Quality of Life for Children and Adults with Psychiatric Disorders and Staff of Helping Organizations" — an expedition was conducted to residential social care institutions in the Irkutsk Region.

On February 6, 2026, the HSE International Laboratory for Social Integration Research (ILSIR) hosted a methodological seminar on participatory practices involving children and young adults with intellectual disabilities. The meeting brought together researchers and practitioners from NGOs and museums to discuss how to hear the voices of beneficiaries and involve them in the development of social services.

The IV International Scientific Conference "Interaction. Integration. Inclusion: labyrinths of meanings and horizons of possibilities" has recently concluded. This year, 17 sections and a round table meeting were organized, which brought together more than 400 participants interested in the study and development of socio-cultural integration from different countries and regions of Russia.
