Seminar by Bulat Gilfanov

On November 21, a seminar was held at the International Laboratory for Social Integration Research, National Reaserach University, HSE, dedicated to the discussion of Bulat Gilfanov's dissertation on the topic: "Involving People with Disabilities in Entrepreneurship: Barriers and Resources."

During the seminar, Bulat Gilfanov presented the methodological aspects of a study aimed at identifying barriers and resources for the inclusion of people with disabilities, as well as the theoretical and conceptual framework of the study. He described the current stage and prospects for further work on his dissertation. Research fellows from the International Laboratory for Social Integration Research and invited reviewer Polina Dmitrievna Guseva actively participated in the discussion.
Particular attention was paid to sampling and consideration of regional specificities. Bulat Gilfanov confirmed that the qualitative phase of the study is focused on Moscow, but the quantitative phase will involve participants from across the country. Following the discussion, key areas for further study development were identified, including clarifying the formulation of the objectives and formalizing methodological limitations.

The seminar participants emphasized the importance of further studying social entrepreneurship as a source of valuable insights for the project. The results of the discussion will help refine the research tools and enhance the quality of future scientific findings.
