The Global Youth Leadership Development Program provides a unique platform for global youth to gain a nuanced understanding of global affairs. The ultimate aim of the programme is to expose a diverse group of participants from around the world to the idea of leadership, which my fellow participants and I feel was successfully achieved during the pilot programme that was launched in India in March 2017 to meet the specific needs of the Global Youth Leaders.

On October 9, the Public Policy Department presented a new book entitled ‘Policy impact of civil society in BRICS countries: best practices influencing policy-making’, which was published by HSE with support from Oxfam under the EU funded project ‘Empowering CSO Networks in an Unequal Multi-Polar World’.
Workshops at ECPR Joint Sessions are closed gatherings of 15-20 participants, which last for about five days. Topics of discussion are precisely defined by a paper or research document for discussion. On 31st January to 2nd February 2015 HSE held its annual International Winter School. The Department of Public Policy and Master Programme in Political Analysis and Public Policy headed by professor Nina Belyaeva took part in the event. The Winter School welcomed participants from Germany, France, China, Japan and other countries.
