Research at the Faculty

The Faculty of Social Sciences brings together leading specialists in sociology, political science, psychology, public administration, education, public policy, network analysis and other fields. 

The faculty includes a number of institutes, laboratories and centres engaged in both traditional social science and relatively new and developing areas such as neuroeconomics, cognitive neuroscience and social neuroscience.

Publications

In 2015, the faculty’s staff published over one hundred articles in leading Russian and foreign journals that are peer-reviewed in Scopus and Web of Science. Our colleagues present at leading Russian and international conferences and congresses on social sciences. Faculty members chair Russian and international expert boards, as well as committees of Russian and international scientific and research organizations. Our professors have also received both Russian and international awards for their scientific achievements.
