Working Group on Russian Foreign Policy Discourses Introduces Research Project for Extended Student Participation

The Working Group on the Russian discursive space on national security held its third seminar on December 18. The seminar, organized in hybrid format, unveiled a new research project that aims to analyze Russia's foreign policy discourses from 2000 to 2024.

The project actively involves 1st and 2nd-year students in the WG's research efforts. Its primary objective is to trace the evolution of narratives in Russian foreign policy through the creation of a comprehensive database of discursive acts. During the seminar, the WG's leadership unveiled a template for this database. Additionally, students were provided with detailed instructions on the database's methodology, along with guidance on effective data collection techniques.
