Russian Strategic Studies Students Seminar on Security Trough Development
The Russian Strategic Studies Working Group held its sixth seminar of the 2022-2023 academic year on March 10th. The seminar focused on the rhetorical symbol of "security through development" in Russia's security and foreign policy. Led by Ph.D. candidate Pavel Devyatkin and Prof. Iain Ferguson, the seminar featured student-led research presentations on various topics related to Russian strategy, commitments to global goals, and strategic stability in security policy. After the presentations, students received feedback from their peers and submitted final reports to the WG coordinators. Overall, the seminar was a successful opportunity for students to engage in meaningful research on Russia's security strategy in the twenty-first century. After the discussion of the submitted research and student feedback, students are required to submit a final report to the WG leaders in April.
В прошедший четверг, 10 марта, состоялся шестой семинар рабочей группы Стратегические Исследования России в рамках 2022-2023 академического года. Тема семинара была посвящена исследованию стратегии национальной безопасности России в XXI веке с акцентом на символ риторики "безопасность с помощью развития". Студенты представили свои исследовательские доклады в рамках текущего этапа эмпирического исследования публичной риторики. После презентаций студенты получили обратную связь от руководителей и координаторов проекта. По результатам семинара участниками рабочей группы будут подготовлены аналитические записки, которые станут основой эмпирической базы для научной публикации.
