The Evolution of Traditional Values in Russian Political Rhetoric
On December 28th, the Working Group on the discursive aspect of Russian foreign policy will host its fourth and final seminar, which will take place at the 508 auditorium, 11:00 (Myasnitskaya, 11).
The seminar will have a two-fold agenda. First, the seminar will feature a presentation by Maxim Mitskevich, one of WG's members. Maxim will present his research on the evolution of traditional values within the Russian political sphere, particularly in the State Duma. His analysis aims to cover the shifts in political rhetoric and policy-making, offering a сomparative analysis of how these values have been framed and debated over the last decade.
Finally, the seminar will also feature a comprehensive year-end review to reflect on the group's milestones, challenges, and learning experiences throughout the year, ending with the discussion of WG's research in activities in 2024.
