The seminar will be held on February 21 (Friday) at 11.00 at the address: Armenian Lane, 4, room 2, room 118.

Information technology (IT) is a massive, promising and prestigious profession in the modern world. At the same time, this industry represents an area of increased risks of professional burnout. Unfavorable conditions for physical health, widespread overwork, high productivity requirements, the need for continuous training and other unfavorable factors make the problem of burnout in this area an acute social problem. Therefore, it is relevant to search for burnout factors specific to specialists in this field and available resources to overcome it, primarily environmental ones.

The seminar will demonstrate the results of a dissertation project devoted to the study of the role of the subjectively perceived office environment and nature in preventing professional burnout of IT specialists. A comparative analysis of respondents with positive and negative attitudes towards work in terms of socio-demographic parameters, attitude to nature and satisfaction with the office environment will be presented. In addition, we will discuss the relationship between the attitude to nature and dedication to work, organizational cynicism, professional burnout and satisfaction with the qualities of the office environment.
