Seminar on fMRI meta-analyses I of II

Seminar on fMRI meta-analyses I of II

The first part of the seminar on meta-analysis took place on February 12 at Psychology department. Meta-analyses use systematic review methods combined with statistical analyses to identify agreement in the data of multiple studies to provide more precise estimates of performance and resolve inconsistencies across studies.  Functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) studies are increasing and many use quantitative meta-analyses to identify over-arching patterns in the data. The first seminar included training on: systematically searching the literature, screening for eligible articles, tabulating relevant information, and preparing data for analyses.
