ASPA holds the largest global annual conferences on Public Administration. The conference has scientific, practical and professional nature. The theme of this year’s conference, “Mission focused and service first; creating innovative solutions”, reflects the need for academic scrutiny and self-reflection of practitioners of policymaking.
The conference is the venue for experts from difference areas of public administration to get together. However, the women’s leadership and the situation of women in public authorities occupy a special place at the conference. The section on “Women in public administration” (SWPA) includes a range of activities. The SWPA section culminated in the Award Ceremony for Women in Public Administration accompanied by brilliant speech of Dr. Brenda Allen. Later, in the margins of the conference, V.Utkina introduced B.Allen to the work of the Research Group. The professor expressed a keen interest in the subject of the Group’s study.
