Irina Kulinenko, 2^nd year student of the program “Politics. Economy. Philosophy." took an active part in the VII BRICS International School, which was held from November 13 to 18, 2023.

On October 26-28, 2023, the Institute of Europe of the Russian Academy of Sciences and HSE University successfully hosted a discussion on the problems facing the Mediterranean and Black Sea region. Mateo Rojas Samper, a 2nd year student of the program, took part and shared his insight of the event.

Like many international students who choose to study at the Higher School of Economics, Martin Inderhaug, a native of Bergen, Norway, boasts a rich background marked by a diverse set of interests. Although he has been at HSE for only six months since enrolling in the Master’s programme in Politics, Economics and Philosophy, his interest in Russia goes back to his days serving in Norway’s military in the country’s far north where he would gaze at the ‘unknown East’ across the border with Russia.

Dear colleagues, students and enrollees,  I am glad to inform you that our PEP team has become ever stronger thanks to its new member – professor Boris Kapustin who joined our PEP program after 20 years of teaching PPE-type program at the famous Yale University in New Haven, USA.   It is a great pleasure for me to introduce professor Kapustin and present his introductory video:

On November 20^th and 21^st, 2015, an international conference ‘Convergence in a Complex World – Social, Political and Economic Perspectives’ took place in Germany. Olga Komshukova, second-year student of the master’s programme ‘Politics. Economics. Philosophy’ told us about her participation in the event.
