Applications Now Open for Spring Semester Exchange Programmes

Applications Now Open for Spring Semester Exchange Programmes

DARIA BORODINA/CENTRE FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENT MOBILITY

Students of HSE University can submit applications for international exchange programmes until September 15, 2021.

The exchange programme catalogue includes 53 foreign universities in 17 countries. Most of the universities are located in the EU, where the pandemic situation is stabilizing and direct flights from Russia are available.

Before applying, you can learn more about the application process, how it works, and view the application form.

If you are on an academic mobility programme under a partner agreement between HSE University and a foreign university, you do not have to pay tuition fees. However, you must cover other costs (such as accommodation, food, and transport) yourself.

Sofia Sadykova

Director of the Student International Mobility Office

If you don’t know much about academic mobility, you can read reviews from students who have just finished their semester abroad. If you haven’t considered an exchange programme because you’ve got ongoing projects, military training, work, family or pets that you don’t want to leave behind for six months, you can find out more about online academic mobility at the University of Jyväskylä in Finland or the European Business School in Germany.

When choosing a field of study, make sure to check the website of the university you’re interested in to find out about its COVID-19 policies—most of our partner universities have a section about this on their websites. This will help to give you a better idea of whether the academic mobility experience at a university meets your expectations and personal goals, should you be considered for the programme.

If you still haven’t made up your mind, here’s a video about how to prepare the required documents and submit your application. If you have any questions, you can schedule an appointment to talk to specialists from the Student International Mobility Office.

You can keep up to date with the latest exchange programme news by following the Study Abroad. HSE University Telegram channel and the International Mobility at HSE Instagram page.
