The Faculty of Social Sciences has a number of Exchange agreements with partner universities.
Students of the Faculty have the opportunity, along with participation in the University-wide programmes of international academic mobility, to study as exchange students at foreign universities – partners of the Faculty, for 1 or 2 semesters.
Professors and lecturers of the Faculty can participate in academic mobility programs within the Faculty and University-wide agreements with foreign universities by the Erasmus+ programme. ‘We Have Promising Opportunities with Africa, and It Is Important to Foster Cooperation’
A Strategic Session focusing on cooperation between Russia and African countries in the sphere of higher education was held at HSE University's building on Pokrovsky Bulvar. The event was attended by representatives of HSE University, rectors of other Russian universities, and ambassadors and ministers of higher education from several African states.

Towards Sustainable Future of International Education: Visit to APAIE Conference 2023
One of the largest educational fairs was hosted in Bangkok 13-17 March 2023 by APAIE (Asia-Pacific Association for International Education). Vice-rector of HSE Honorable Victoria V.Panova headed a delegation of the University to present new ideas developed by the teaching and administrative staff and develop strategic partnerships with the best universities from the region and beyond. Some of the events were held in the beautiful oasis like campus of the Mahidol University, outside Bangkok. It has traditional Thai architecture, protected by UNESCO, and a cohort of green varans who enjoy the tropical sun.

New Double Degree with EHESS Paris
HSE and L'École des hautes études en sciences sociales (EHESS) have signed an agreement for the provision of a double degree track for the HSE’s Master's programme in Comparative Social Research. This is the second double degree track being offered to students of this programme. Earlier this year, a similar agreement was signed with the Free University of Berlin.
