About reasons for choosing police service as a career track
On the 12th of October 2018 the seminar of the Research and Study Group "Comparative Study of the Situation of Women and Men in Public Authorities" was held. A third-year student of the bachelor’s program ‘Public Administration’ Ekaterina Chemankova made a speech about the factors that influence the choice of profession by policewomen. It was concluded that many women join the police service under the influence of parents, due to the prestige of the profession, because of salary, job stability and a package of social benefits
