Olga Isupova gave the report on the mobile families and public policy
Topic: "Family policy for the family on suitcases: different types of mobile families and governmental support"
The research was presented during the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Seminar «Life on suitcases: Family mobility and social well-being». In the framework of the report, the author examined forms of families` mobility, current trends and the history of the development of family policy. Also, one of the research tasks was to study the demographic situation and measures of state support in the Russian regions.
The author identifies trends in the transition from direct stimulation of the birth rate to the protection of families from poverty at the global level and is reflected in Russian politics, however, according to the
author, among the many socially unprotected groups only the Russian military receive significant help in supporting family mobility. At the same time, maternity support is tied to living in a certain area and can have a negative impact on the mobility of families.
As a result, Olga Isupova specifies that "other forms of family mobility are still waiting for attention from the legislators".
