The second academic meeting of the Research Group "Comparative Study of the Situation of Women and Men in Public Authorities"

Today, on the 14th of March, the second research seminar of our Research Group took place.

Professor Elena Rozhdestvenskaya presented her study entitled "The gender contract is not yet a balance: to conceptualize the balancing of family and work". Participants of the seminar familiarized themselves with a concept of the gender contract and its specificity, as well as with theoretical basics of “work-life balance”. Later on, the participants were also offered some case studies about transformations of role models and expectorations in present-day Russia.
