Seminar "English academic writing for young students"

The scientific group "Mathematical and Computational Psychology" organized a seminar "English academic writing for young students" on 08. February. 2019.

This seminar of academic writing targets especially young students (undergrad and master students) who are not native English speakers. We discussed how to write an English manuscript from its early draft to its final version. We emphasized importance of working-English (rather than elegant-English) at the early stage of the students.
Clarity, completeness, correctness, conciseness, and consistency are important in academic writing. Elegance comes later.

Presenter: Tadamasa Sawada
Working language: English
Place: Armyanskiy per. 4c2, Moscow, #118
Date and time: 08. February between 10:00am and 11:30am
