Seminar "Replication crisis and Publication bias in Psychology"

The scientific group "Mathematical and Computational Psychology" organized a seminar "Replication crisis and Publication bias in Psychology" on 01. February. 2019.

Recently, it as been pointed out that many studies in Psychology, as well as in other scientific disciplines, cannot be replicated. This problem is becoming widely recognized in Psychology where it is now called the "replication crisis". One of reasons believed to be behind this problem is called the  "publication bias". Namely, psychologists are biased towards only publishing positive results. In this seminar, I will review several of studies devoted to these issues, as well as to other relevant issues, with the goal of understanding how Psychology can be studied as a more exact science.
