A Critical Environmental Psychology approach to people-environment and energy studies

In her talk, Dr Batel spoke about using the framework of a critical environmental psychology approach to understand current citizen participation and opposition to new renewable energy infrastructure and other environmentally relevant technologies and practices not as NIMBY (Not In My Backyard) but instead as enactments of socio-environmental (in)justices.

The Q & A part of the seminar included discussions with Russian and foreign environmental psychology researchers on the issues raised in the presentation.
