At the regular seminar of Environmental Psychology Research and Study Group held on April 23, 2021, Dr Cameron Brick, Assistant Professor at the University of Amsterdam, Netherlands, gave a talk on his research on individual and contextual predictors of pro-environmental behaviour.
The seminar was attended by HSE University students and Russian researchers in the field of Sustainability and Environmental Psychology.
Dr Cameron Brick discussed his findings on the role of other people’s presence on pro-environmental behaviour, as well as on the effect of social identity and explicit and implicit environmentalism on behaviour. He also shared the results of his research on public attitudes in the UK towards civil disobedience actions of climate activists. In addition, he shared open sources of free psychological datasets.
