Individual and Contextual Influences on Pro-Environmental Behaviour

The seminar was attended by HSE University students and Russian researchers in the field of Sustainability and Environmental Psychology.

Dr Cameron Brick discussed his findings on the role of other people’s presence on pro-environmental behaviour, as well as on the effect of social identity and explicit and implicit environmentalism on behaviour. He also shared the results of his research on public attitudes in the UK towards civil disobedience actions of climate activists. In addition, he shared open sources of free psychological datasets. During the discussion section of the seminar, the participants asked their questions regarding his and their research.
