Psychological, economic, and ethnic-cultural resources to improve inter-ethnic relations in the regions of Russia
June 26-30, 2014 an international scientific-practical conference "Psycho-economic and ethno-cultural resources to improve inter-ethnic relations in the Russian regions" was held in Irkutsk, in which members of NUG business psychology took part.
The conference was devoted to the analysis of theoretical problems of intercultural interaction, search tools and techniques are usefull to optimize the contacts between representatives of different nations, as well as a better understanding of each other. The conference was attended by representatives of more than a dozen cities in Russia and six foreign countries: Armenia, Belarus, China, Mongolia, Poland and Ukraine.
At the conference, presentations were made by employees of scientific and educational groups:
- Natalia Antonova - "Economic identity as a factor in adapting to the professional environment"
- Okga Patosha - "The relationship of perceived discrimination and social adaptation in the elderly in Russia and Israel"
- Wladimir Stroh - "In search for personal meaning a work-life balance".
