Steven Fish  – is a well-known American expert on comparative politics, with a special emphasis on developing and post-communist countries. He is the author of books: Are Muslims Distinctive? (2011), Democracy Derailed in Russia: The Failure of Open Politics (2005), Democracy from Scratch: Opposition and Regime in the New Russian Revolution (1995) and others.
