HSE Enters the Top 100 of QS World University Rankings by Subject for Social Policy and Administration

HSE University has placed among the top 100 leading universities in the QS World University Rankings by subject for Social Policy and Administration. What's more, we are the only Russian university to make the top 100. HSE University has also climbed in a number of other subject rankings.

QS subject rankings are based on four criteria: academic and employer reputation (based on global surveys of scientists and employers conducted by QS), as well as the number of citations per publication and the Hirsch index of scientists working at the university, which takes into account the number of publications and their citations.

The fact that HSE University has been able to enter the top 100 in Social Policy & Administration ranking can be attributed both to growing professional reputation of HSE researchers working in this field, as well as the demand for our graduates in the labour market.

HSE also ranks in the top 100 in the broad subject area of Social Sciences & Management, where it has risen to 59th place from last year's 75th.
