Erasmus+ scholarships for studying at Free University of Berlin

Dear Master and PhD students!

We are happy to inform you about new opportunities in the field of academic mobility.

The Free University of Berlin, within the framework of the Erasmus + grant program, provides one scholarship for graduate and postgraduate students in the social sciences to participate in the exchange program during the semester from October 2018 through March 2019. The financing includes a travel / flight reimbursement and a monthly scholarship of 800 euros.

Those  who wish to participate, please send applications (forms in the attachment, in Russian and English), as well as the full package of documents (see information below) to  lashurova@hse.ru  before March 15, 2018. The Faculty commission will consider the received applications and select the candidate for participation in the program. All documents should be  presented in pdf format.

Note:  it is necessary to choose courses and coordinate them with the management of your program, Learning Agreement  must be signed by the  program manager. 

List of required documents:

  • Application for participation in the exchange program (download);
  • filled in  application form (attached);
  • motivation letter;
  • letter(s) of recommendation;
  • a photocopy of a transcript, records, grade report - a transcript;
  • photocopy(ies) of the student's BA, MA or other final degrees (if already available);
  • a photocopy of the student's passport (page with photograph and data);
  • a curriculum vitae;
  • the filled in Learning Agreement (signed by the student and the home university) (download);
  • for PhD applicants: an acceptance letter issued by a professor of Freie Universität Berlin;
  • for PhD applicants: a research proposal and timeline of their work at FUB.
