В Neuropsy Lab прошел семинар "Ultrasonography in Non-Medical Brain Research"

Аспирант научно-учебной лаборатории нейробиологических основ когнитивного развития Евгений Халезов провел семинар по методам ультразвукового исследования мозга в когнитивной нейронауке.

Ultrasonography is a non-invasive imaging technique widely used in medicine, especially in neurology, and a promising method in neuroscience. However, little is known about the association between cerebrovascular hemodynamics and cognitive abilities in healthy people. I will summarize research using ultrasonography conducted for last two years in the Neuropsy laboratory of NRU-HSE, including age-prediction and comparison of cerebrovascular hemodynamics parameters in cognitively gifted and same age normally performing peers. I will also discuss new opportunities non-medical application of ultrasonography presents.
