The 2nd Python Friday workshop
The 2nd Python Friday took place on November 2.
Participants discussed James Loy's guide How to build your own Neural Network from scratch in Python and worked on its implementation.
Workshop materials: python_meeting_2.py
For deeper understanding:
- A series of videos by 3Blue1Brown explaining what neural networks are and how they learn. This channel also has a good series on linear algebra useful for machine learning.
- A video with basic explanation of machine learning in simple terms by CGP Grey.
- An introduction to the Gradient Descend method by Jonathan Richard Shewchuk.
Pyday Friday is a new byWeekly seminary led by Georgiy Zhulikov. He will be teaching proper programming techniques using Python as the language of choice, PyCharm as the IDE and as many examples of coded machine learning as can be found.
If you want to attend the workshop, please, contact Georgiy Zhulikov.
