Maxim and Danila presented a report entitled “Educational Supported Living: Opinions of Families of Project Participants,” based on a survey of parents of clients of the training apartment launched by the Center for Curative Pedagogics in early 2024. The report presented the dynamics of changes that occurred in the lives of the program participants in four main areas: “Independence Skills”, “Family Well-Being”, “Readiness for Change”, and “Proactivity of Parents”.

When analyzing the results obtained, several key conclusions were made about the role of educational supported living in the lives of beneficiaries. Firstly, the increase in the level of family well-being does not occur all at once – changes in the lives of parents occur gradually, and various spheres of everyday life are transformed at different rates. Secondly, at the moment the most noticeable trend is the improvement of intra-family relationships – both parent-child relationships and relationships between parents and other relatives. Thirdly, in general, parents cope well with the separation crisis, which is expressed in the transformation of relations with the child and the willingness to provide him with greater freedom as his independence increases.

In conclusion of the report, Maxim and Danila shared further plans for refining the design of the study, scheduled for 2025.
