Setting the narrative: the preliminary results of data analysis

Summing up the results of the collection and analysis of data, we can highlight several important points that can characterize the narratives we are considering about the housing renovation program in Moscow.
First, we can talk about the existence of so-called "metanarratives", which concern the general aspects of the development of the renovation program and set the context for other, more specific narratives.
Secondly, we can note that the government agencies largely use texts and narrative elements that have a low degree of "narrativity" and are mostly based on metanarrative about the benefits of change and progress. Citizens 'and activists' associations opposing the renovation program, in turn, use more narrative elements and a larger number of plots in their texts.
