Organization is well known for its accurate fact-finding, impartial reporting, effective use of media, and targeted advocacy, often in partnership with local human rights groups.
Amnestey International is a non-governmental organization focused on human rights  with over 7 million members and supporters around the world. The stated objective of the organisation is "to conduct research and generate action to prevent and end grave abuses of human rights, and to demand justice for those whose rights have been violated".
Transperency International is an international non-governmental organization aimed to take action to combat corruption and prevent criminal activities arising from corruption.
Moscow Helsinki Group (MHG) was founded to monitor compliance with the Helsinki Accords and to report to the West on Soviet human rights abuses. Nowadays, MHG operates as a major promoter of human rights and construction of democracy in Russia.
 Carnegie Moscow Center is a think tank and research center that focuses on domestic and foreign policy, international relations, international security, and the economy. It is a regional affiliate of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace (Washington, DC).
 Levada-center is a Russian independent, non-governmental polling and sociological research organization. Being one of the largest Russian research companies,  Levada-Center  regularly conducts its own and commissioned sociological and marketing researches.
 Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VTsIOM) is the oldest polling institution and one of the leading sociological and market research companies in modern Russia.The state-owned and government-run institution reports to the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs.
