50 Years of Unlimited Assistance: «Doctors Without Borders» Photo Exhibition in the Walls of HSE
On Monday February 21st at 14:00 a photo exhibition, dedicated to the 50th anniversary of «Doctors Without Borders», will open at HSE. This has been possible thanks to the fact that one of our graduates from the master's program «Political Analysis and Public Policy» works at «Doctors Without Borders». This allows our department to maintain cooperation on joint activities, as well as to involve students in project work on the basis of our organizations.

In honor of Human Rights Day, several of our program students celebrated with members of Amnesty International Russia in Moscow on Friday, 10 December. Throughout the evening, students had the opportunity to write letters to show solidarity to various activists from around the world as part of Amnesty’s Letter Marathon.

The webinar organized by Prof Alberto Pirnie at the institute of law, politics and development at Scuola Superiore Sant Anna in Pisa, Italy by inviting Prof Sanjay Rajhans of HSE from the Department of Public Policy, Moscow to deliver a lecture titled “Terra Incognita or more of the same: The “Democratic unease” in the post Trump period” was a timely contribution with changes that have occurred across the Atlantic in the recent past.

Project activity of the students
Every year, on 10th of December, Human Rights day is celebrated across the globe. Students of Public Policy Department at HSE usually organize a series of events to promote human rights in the university, to discuss and share opinions. This year, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, “Human Rights Week” is postponed and will be taking place online, but students still found a way to work in the field through their project activity, which is a new mandatory addition to the study plan at HSE.
