We do believe that cutting-edge understanding of our country’s and the world’s future should and can be seen through public policy perspective, the policy of dialogue between different social and political groups, the policy that encourages the states' and public leaders’ accountability, open to expressed views of the public, analytical community, intellectuals and global citizens.

Nikita Melnikov, one of the 1st year students of the program expressed his opinion on the Q&A session that was organized during the class with Konstantin Markin:
I'm so grateful to the professors of my master's program for having invited such an experienced lawyer as Konstantin Markin. Markin is a veritable expert in the field of human rights. He provided me detailed answers to the controversial questions I asked, such as whether Alexey Navalny can be considered a political prisoner in legal terms. Within the framework of our human rights course, Markin told us about his successful case with the European Court of Human Rights. His story could be very useful if one of us has to deal with injustice and take legal action to such an international judicial institution. I am thankful not only to Konstantin Markin but also to Professor Ksenia Gerasimova, whose willingness to translate from Markin's Russian to English ensured that all of our many international students could appreciate his lecture and discussion. At the end of the day, attending this guest’s lecture was highly enjoyable, and I can absolutely confirm that meeting with such a knowledgeable specialist was definitely worth it!
