ECPR 2019 General Conference

This year, ECPR's General conference took place in Wroclaw, Poland and attracted more than 2,000 scholars from throughout the world and at all stages of their career. The Conference remains Europe's largest annual gathering of political scientists and one of the best platforms for academic discussion, exchange of ideas and the best thinking in the discipline.

As usual, scholars from different departments of HSE participated in the Conference and presented their papers. Among them was professor Caroline Schlaufer from our department. She presented her developing paper "Finding Problems for Policies in Moscow’s Local Policymaking: What are the Problems of Active Citizens?" where she used multiple streams approach for comprehensive analysis of "Active Citizen" program in Moscow and how this mechanism could elaborate and deliever urban and social problems to policymakers on a local level.
