About Department

Public Policy Department accommodates renowned teachers, experts and researches who specialize in political institutes and public policy processes. We strive for having a solid foundation for pioneering research as well as educational and practice-oriented projects.

Public Policy Department developed and now administers Master's Program in Public Policy Analysis with two specializations: “Political analysis and Public Policy” and “Human Rights and Democratic Governance”. We specialize in analyzing particular policy fields (environmental policy, global security, innovation policy, ethnic policy etc.), policy strategies of different political actors, theory and methods of public policy analysis, development of policy institutions in today’s competitive, dynamic, information opened political world.

We do believe that cutting-edge understanding of our country’s and the world’s future should and can be seen through public policy perspective, the policy of dialogue between different social and political groups, the policy that encourages the states' and public leaders’ accountability, open to expressed views of the public, analytical community, intellectuals and global citizens.
