International cooperation

The international office of the Faculty of Public Administration was established in 2004 to establish research and academic contacts with potential foreign partners. Both modern training for civil servants and research in public administration are impossible to carry out in intellectual isolation. Participation in international projects and programmes offered by the faculty gives students the opportunity to learn about the experiences of government in other countries, broadens their horizons and develops the knowledge and skills necessary to build a successful career in public administration.

The Faculty of Public Administration currently has a number of foreign partners with which it carries out various forms of cooperation, including joint research, academic exchange and double-degree programmes.

United Kingdom

London Metropolitan University, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, School of Social Professions

  • Joint Double-Degree Master's in Public Administration (open to first-year Master's students with a English proficiency level of IELTS 6.0)
  • Annual summer school in June (2 weeks) (open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students with intermediate English skills)

  • Participation of faculty and postgraduate students in international academic mobility under the TEMPUS project
  • Since October 2012 HSE participates in the implementation of the EUNEG TEMPUS Joint Project ˝European Neighbourhood Policy Law and Good Governance (EUNEG)˝. It supports the development of higher education reform in the Partner Countries (Russia, Ukraine and Moldova), through cooperation with EU and in convergence with Bologna process and with EU developments deriving from the Strategic Framework for European Cooperation in education and training (ET 2020) and Strategy for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth (Europe 2020).
