A new article "Ordering motivation and Likert scale ratings: When a numeric scale is not necessarily better"

Research Assistant Yulia Sudorgina, co-authored with Yulia Tyumeneva, Alexandra Kislenkova (Institute of Education, HSE) and Maria Lebedeva (Pushkin Institute) published an article in the Quantitative Psychology and Measurement section of the Frontiers in Psychology.

In the published article the authors showed that the use of pairwise comparisons in the study of motivation is more informative than the use of rating scales (for example, the Likert scale).
