The new publication of our Lab's employee

Congratulations to Valentina Bachurina and colleagues for their publication "A machine learning investigation of factors that contribute to predicting cognitive performance: Difficulty level, reaction time and eye-movements" in Decision Support Systems.

Valentina Bachurina:
"We took data from adult participants who performed a mental attention task with six difficulty levels and used machine learning methods to predict task success based on measures related to task difficulty, reaction time, and eye movements.
The results show that machine learning models can reliably predict outcomes in such problems. Eye movements can also independently predict accuracy. The most important characteristics of the model are the number of fixations, the number of saccades, the duration of the current fixation, and the size of the pupil".

We invite you to check the publication via this link.
