Приглашение на научный семинар "Social innovations and NGO sector in Poland and Russia"
We are happy to invite you to the online seminar by The Department of Rural and Urban Sociology, University of Lodz, Poland, and the Project Group «Panel of Russian NGOs» of the Faculty of Social Sciences and the Institute for Applied Political Studies at HSE. The seminar will take place from 12:00 to 14:00, November 30. The working language is English.
The seminar follows up the discussion on social innovation and focuses on the national context of Polish civil society. The upcoming seminar covers the social innovation area as a field of cooperation and co-production between non-profits, citizens, authorities, and other stakeholders to address pressing social problems. Social innovations stand in as new solutions better than the existing ones.
Presentations focus, first, on the several matters of the Polish civil society and social innovations in Polish rural areas. Presenters will cover the general context of Polish civil society and a landscape of non-governmental organizations, examine the local NGOs and the specificity of their activities in the local and rural dimension for the benefit of communities. Secondly, presentations will address an international perspective of social innovations in a comparative perspective in different countries.
